Dr. Koning earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from La Sierra University in Riverside, California where he was awarded the Dean’s Award for graduating at the top of the School of Business. He then went on to receive his medical degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California and graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Following medical school, Dr. Koning completed a Transitional Year internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California and a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of California, San Diego Health System. Subsequently, he completed his Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School where he served as chief fellow.
