Virtual Colonoscopy images are obtained with low dose radiation CT scanning. After the images are obtained, a powerful computer reconstructs a series of 3D images of the colon that one of our qualified and experienced radiologists can view from multiple angles. Once the images are reconstructed, our radiologist will interpret the results and report the findings back to your ordering physician.
